Индиана, как фирма по изготовлению повозок; до 1902 был главным производителем повозок типа "конестога" [ Conestoga wagon] в США (до 1901 было произведено около 750 тыс. штук). С 1902 по 1911 фирма производила автомобили, в 1911 стала частью корпорации "Студебекер", в 1954 с нею слилась фирма "Паккард мотор кар" [Packard Motor Car Company]. Производила автомобили до 19652) Марка автомобилей этой фирмы (выпускались до 1965).
